Unity Radio wants to help young people understand what’s going on so they can take responsible decisions and to help make Manchester a better place to be. Unity Radio delivers contemporary workshops that aim to respect the positive work of leading members of the UK’s underground scene, teaching disciplines and skills that developed in inner city environments. Introducing young people to the disciplines of Hip Hop and creative expression with positive energy, Unity Radio aims to improve the well being of our Citizens, across generations.

Understanding other people is the key to living together. We want young people to develop their abilities and talent and contribute to the City to keep us on top. We thrive from inner city energy and thats why we come so raw.
Unity Radio’s sustainability is a result of developing and building the confidence and skills of our presenters/DJ’s and then engaging with people through workshop programmes and events, as a service provider for Councils and private organistations. By generating payment opportunities for members and helping identify possible career paths into the creative industries, Unity Radio is able to support the best new talent whilst providing our listeners with up to the minute contemporary music.
